Boat trips:
Sight seeingThere's so much to see and experience, tours can be tailored to suit your requirements. Visit the pituresque local Dudhasgar waterfalls with an off-road jeep ride on offer for the more adventurous. You can swim, relax and enjoy the spectacular views, and make sure to take some food along for the monkeys! If you're fond of wild life, take a trip to one of the sanctuaries where the forests are home to a huge variety of exotic birdlife and inhabited by bison, leopard, sloth, bear etc. The jungle trip covers two days and you have ample opportunity to witness the tigers and elephants in their natural surroundings.
Velha Goa is the old capital of the Portuguese and some of it's original grandeur can still be seen today. Fort Aguada, Vasco harbour and Cado de Rama, to name but a few, are steeped in history and well worth a visit. Museums and Churches, Monastries and convents are plentiful, along with ancient Hindu and Islamic temples dating back to the 15th century and earlier. If you enjoy exploring the past, Goa is a must.
A trip to one of the many markets is something not to be missed. Hunt for bargains amongst the gaily coloured stalls. Experience the hustle and bustle of Anjuna Market, whilst browsing the huge selection of Indian and Goan crafts, leather goods, jewellery, clothes, handicrafts and hand painted silks, and exotic spice etc.
If it's your first time to GOA, our experienced drivers are always happy to advise you about the variety of sight seeing tours and excursions available. If you prefer to 'do your own thing', discover the delights of Goa at your leisure by hiring a bicycle, motorcycle or car through our resort or use public transport. Motorcycle taxis, buses and auto-rickshaws are readily available throughout the area. Previous page |
